The scoop

Ok, so earlier today, Jason called me and wanted to know if Valentine's Day was on a Friday this year, which it is. And then he asked me if I still wanted to spend a night at the Kalahari resort in the Wisconsin Dells. I said I did, so he said that we could look into getting special reservations set up, which I was excited about. I think of the pictures of him and me at the resort together, that I took, 3 years ago now and I think of just how much fun it looks like we had going down those rides at the water park, and I was kind of hoping we could do that again while we were there, and just have fun with going on the rides at the indoor water park there, like last time. So when he tells me that I can always go by myself, it's just disappointing to hear him say that. I was kind of hoping we could check out some of the new stuff we didn't do last time, and possibly just have fun doing it, like we did last time. I'd also like for him and me to go on the Ferris wheel at the ...

So, today, I woke up at a little after 11 in the morning.I can't believe how late I slept in today. So anyways, I've decided to start working out everyday again this week, even if it means just walking on the treadmill for now, because right now it's way too cold to be going anywhere, I think. While I've been walking on the treadmill in the basement, I've also decided to take advantage of the fact that I have a portable dvd player and some episodes of I Love Lucy on dvd by watching them on the portable dvd player, at the same time I'm walking on the treadmill. I've also weighed myself lately, and my weight is currently at 124lbs. I think that's the lightest my weight has ever been at the beginning of the year, in a long time! It's 9lbs lighter than where I was at the beginning of the year last year, and it's even 24lbs lighter than where I was at at the beginning of the year, 2 years ago. So weight wise, I'd say I'm off to a pretty good s...

some random stuff

Well, tonight was definitely a good night to stay inside and watch the Grammys. It's definitely not a good night to be out and about. It's practically suicide out there. I can really hear the wind blowing outside my window. Two weeks ago, I had gotten an infection on the left side of my mouth, which had me in the doctor's office because the left side of my face got swollen. So I went on antibiotics. And then this last Thursday, I went to see my Dentist. It turns out one of my fillings in my cavities got infected, so he had to fix my bottom filling. He did say that if I ever had something like this happen to me again, or the filling in my tooth continues to bother me, I have to come in for a root canal. So what I"m going to do is wait it out a week, and if I start experiencing what got me on antibiotics the last time, I"m going to have to go back in. Today, I actually started to feel much better and not so sore on the left side of my mouth. So if I continue to noti...

Why I need a vacation

So, why do people go on vacations? Well, some do it, to get away from the stress in their everyday lives because for some people, going on a vacation means to relax and get away from it all. But for me, I feel I need a vacation because my life is boring, and going on vacation for me brings some excitement into my life. What I would like to do is either stay at the Kalahari Resort for Valentine's Day with my boyfriend, although chances are, that might not be very realistic. It would have been fun though. I also realize that there's more to being on a vacation than just going to amusement parks and water parks all the time. Maybe I need to broaden my horizons when it comes to going on vacation, and try to enjoy other things besides just that, like looking at scenery, or going to any dance clubs if there are any. I know I like just being in or near the water. I can say, although I'd need practice and it was pretty nerve racking the last time, I think I would maybe like to go j...

My fantasy for Valentine's Day

Okay, so I know in the last blog, I never finished summarizing what I all did last year. But anyways, eventhough it's not for another month yet, I've already been thinking about what it is I would like to do with my boyfriend for Valentine's Day, this year. And I have a couple of ideas, but they're very expensive. One of my first choices is going away for a romantic weekend, seeing that Valentine's Day is on a Friday, this year; to a beautiful resort somewhere, in Wisconsin. It doesn't have to be in the Wisconsin Dells, although granted going and spending a couple of nights at one of the Wisconsin Dells resorts would be fun. But what I'm thinking is we should go to a resort some place for a night or 2, and maybe have room service in a nice fancy suite, with some special wine, strawberries, and possibly some chocolate to dip them in, and watch good romantic comedy movies, and possibly hang out in the hot tub, whether it's in the pool area, or in our room....
