stuff
Well, tonight I'm hopefully going to be heading to my storage unit/Motel room/apartment that I'm suppose to be living in. As far as I'm concerned, it's just Friday and Saturday Night home away from home. I sure wish that when I'm over there I could have my computer and internet set up. Maybe that way I'd say there, more. But with my computer being at parent's house as well as the internet and cable access, and with the fact I have no Hot water in my apartment, it's the only thing that keeps me coming back to their house. What I've been wanting to do is go over the lyrics to Sarah Mclachlan's song, "Possession", and say what sounds kinda creepy, like not just something a stalker would say but someone who's abusive might also say, and just pick certain parts of the song apart to see if maybe that's what she means when she says certain parts in the song, like the chorus part, for example that goes, "And I would be the one to hold you down. Kiss you so hard. I'll take your breath away. And after I wipe away your tears. Just close your eyes, dear." I'm thinking what she's referring to is the guy holds a woman down, and kisses her to suffocate her, and all through it, she's crying while he's doing this. And then when he finally does wipe away her tears, she's already dead, so he's wiping away her tears, and then closing her eyes, because maybe in the song he's not telling her to close her eyes and she's not closing her eyes after he kisses her and wipes her tears away. It's got a creepy yet beautiful melody to it, in my opinion. And maybe after I've picked apart my theory of what Sarah's really talking about in her song, maybe I could ask some people for their opinion, just to see if I might or might not have hit the nail on the head. I understand it's about a couple of people she had stalking her, and I know one of them ended up committing suicide over her. I don't know what possessed him to commit suicide. Poor guy had to have been really tortured and disturbed to take it to that extreme.
