Well, today was the first day I think I spent the most time in my apartment. And I do need to start doing that. I know I've come somewhat of a long way since before. Before I was so used to living in my parent's house, the thought of living on my own sounded kinda scary to me. But I'm doing it. And I have another reason to want to be at my apartment, more often. Not just because I now have cable and internet in my apartment now, but because usually on Saturdays some of my neighbors come together in this community center and they either play games or watch movies. And it's given me the opportunity to meet some of my neighbors, better. I know I have 2 neighbors that live in my building who I think are pretty cool and I can see myself hanging out with them in a small group, even though they're between 8 and a half and 10 years older than me. I feel like I just click with them. One being Sherry. Sherry's pretty cool, for being 40 years old. She maybe 40 but she looks like she's around my age. She's also living where she is because of her history with needing heart surgery. Then the other neighbor I think is pretty cool is this guy named Tony (real name Anthony). And he has a brain injury, but he's pretty interesting. I know he used to live in Madison, or so he says. He said he even used to go to school in Madison and played Rugby for the Badgers. Cool.
Good stuff that's happened so far as of 1/5/2017
So what's happened so far, this year: 1. At the start of the year, got $500.00 to deposit into my account so that I have more money for the month to help me just get by. 2. 3 days later I got my new debit card in the mail 3. Might be getting a new job in Waukesha, real soon. (hope this one works out a lot better than my last one) 4. Days are getting longer and lighter out after 5pm. (of course you don't really notice it more until after the first 7 to 9 days of the month) 5. After this week and last week of temperatures being below 20 degrees outside, we're finally going to have a bit of a "January thaw out". Basically what's going to happen is after this week, temperatures are going to get back into the 20's and 30's. I can live with winter weather being in the 20's and 30's, but anything under 20 is too cold! 6. We've been invited to Minnesota to see some relatives. (Sure hope Jason can go, and that we can find someone to take car...
