......5 weeks left.....
Seeing that I've been blogging so much about just wanting to move out of Palmyra back into Waukesha county, I figure I need to talk about other things to pass the time. Let's see, this week I'm only working for 3 days this week with a total of 3 hours, each. That's only 9 hours.
Monday: The pool at the YMCA is closed from now until after Labor day which is a shame, because today would have been a good day to go swimming as hot out as it is today. I guess I could always go swimming somewhere else but it would cost me money.
Jason also got a new job working at Pizza Hut, but he'll only be making 12 an hour. It's still more than what I'm making at Pick N Save as a bagger. Hopefully that should change in the next month. Hopefully I start getting paid a little more money than what I'm making, now. Last night we had an electrical storm, more or less go through Southeastern Wisconsin, and ot may have done quite a number on some of the trees.
Anyways, as of today, we only have 5 weeks left before the big move back out of Palmyra into Mukwonago. So, I've been telling my cat, that in 5 more weeks, we're going to go bye bye. Him and all his things will be the first things to be moved out of our place in Palmyra.
Tuesday- if there's anything positive about Palmyra, it's that there are ways you can get into Elkhorn Wisconsin from there without actually having to take the freeway. And you can also drive into Elkhorn Wisconsin when coming from Eagle. So, needless to say, if I ever drive through Eagle or Palmyra again, it'll be to go to Elkhorn, without actually taking the freeway. And that'll have to be the only reason, I'll ever drive through Eagle or Palmyra again.
Today, I handed in 2 more photos I entered for this year's Walworth county fair, today. And the fair begins tomorrow.
Wednesday- the Wal worth county fair started today. After going through all the photography entries, 2 pictures I entered in the fair placed in the top 5. Too bad I didn't get to see how I did.
Another thing to think about. Not only does the month of August end, this week, but so does our year long lease for our place in Palmyra. It's been almost a year since we first moved out there, and now we're going to be getting back out of Palmyra in another 5 more weeks.
Thursday-After I got done with work, I got to go to Walworth county fair for the rest of the afternoon, pretty much. I had a lot of fun. I got to see the pictures I entered in the fair on display. Especially the picture I entered that I had taken of a mushroom and how it was angled. That won 3rd place. Compared to that one, all my other pictures looked somewhat mediocre. Another highlight at the fair was seeing some of the puppies and dogs and kittens from Lakeland animal shelter. When I finally got home, I was so tired, I didn't want to do too much of anything.
On Friday I went for a run in the morning and on Saturday Jason and I went to get groceries.
