I need a new job
Just as the title to this blog states: I'm going to need a new job that pays better than what I'm making now. Granted as much as I like the freedom of doing whatever I want to do and when I want to do it, I really can't afford to be without a job. And with the money I get from social security each month combined with what I get paid each week, it's still not enough to get by. And although it maybe good that I have a job doing what I'm doing, it's just not enough to get by. And to be honest, I'm not really getting paid enough. I need something that pays more than just 8-10 an hour and it has to be something that I know I'm going to enjoy doing. I mean, here's what I've noticed. I only work 3 hours a day for only 2 to 4 days a week. And maybe for the first hour or 2, I'm usually pretty good at not looking at what time it is. But then by the time I have an hour or a little less than an hour left, I usually just want to get out of there and have it be over. Although it's great that at least I was able to get a job doing something, it's just not enough to meet my needs, finally. And good jobs are very hard to come by. I hope they can increase how much they're paying me at some point, if I can't get another job where I can at least have weekends and holidays off, that still pays better than what I'm making, now. I just hope that I can get another job, soon and that I won't have to work at Pick n save, for too much longer. Besides I really can't afford to get paid just 8.00 an hour. That's really only 48-72 dollars a week. 96.00 if I'm lucky. I know for the first week I worked there, they had me working 5 hours a day for 3 days a week and then they shortened it down to only 3 days a week for 3 hours each. Even if I got paid monthly, that money would all go towards rent and gas
And then the money I earned from work would be for groceries, and then I'd barely have enough for something I might want, like a weekend vacation to the Dells, or maybe something really nice.
