I could sure use a vacation

Image
All I can say is, I could sure use a vacation somewhere. It almost doesn't matter where. I'm also hoping this maybe the summer where I finally get to go to the Kalahari Resort in the Wisconsin Dells. Last summer I made a pact with myself to put away 40.00 each month for a year. Anyways, I was going to say that today I came across a website that lists some places to stay in Florida who at least have something like an indoor or outdoor water park that I thought sounded like good places to stay. There were at least 3 places that sounded good to me:  1.The Hilton Orlando in Orlando, FL,  2. the Hyatt Regency Grand Cypress, because they had water parks there. And then the 3rd one was the Margaritaville Resort. I thought of that one, because I know Jason likes Jimmy Buffet. And the resort had to be themed after Jimmy Buffet. But I don't know. Just thought it would be fun to go some place like that, or at least just look it up for fun. All I know is, I could sure use a vacation...

Another example of a slideshow I've made in honor of the Autism Gala from 2015.

With April being Autism Awareness/Acceptance month, I thought I'd share another slideshow I made from when I went to the autism Gala for the first time, when they would hold it every year in April at this Pfizer hotel in Milwaukee, WI. For me, going to the Gala every year form 2015-2019 was like Prom night for me. Especially considering that I never went to my prom when I was in high school. But how could I when I didn't even go to the same high school all 4 years? Well, since I didn't get to go to prom and didn't want to, I feel going to the Autism Gala really made up for not going to my High School prom. Now as for the reason why I chose the music I did, is because I think maybe it's safe to say, a lot of us on the spectrum just want to be accepted for who we are, as well as respected for who we are. I think we do just want to be able to fit in and make friends like everyone else and we want to also be respected and treated as equals in society. So for that, I fe...

Just thought I'd share some of my photography I've taken this year

As the headline reads: Just thought I should share some of my photography I've taken in the spring of this year.

An example of a slideshow I"ve done.

Ok, so in my previous blog, I had talked about Autism The Musical and Autism The Sequel. And while talking about what I had in common with a little bit of everyone from those documentaries although I'm probably a lot older than they are, I had talked about how I do slideshows and montages on the computer using both pictures and certain video clips from cartoons, and footage I might have video recorded at one time. This slideshow is just an example of some of the slideshows I've done. And it's also celebrating the adoption of one of my cats from an animal shelter, from almost 4 years ago.

Autism The Musical/and the sequel, and my input on the documentary

With the month of April being Autism Awareness month, I've decided to watch both documentaries, Autism The Musical and Autism The Sequel on dvd. (I made the DVD myself so I can just watch it, whenever) The documentary follows around 5 kids who are each on the spectrum and their families. Anyways, the first time I watched the documentary, Autism the Musical was in 2008 on HBO. (I also watched the sequel last year) And then after watching the documentary, I guess I can say that I can relate to a little bit of everybody. Some of them more than others. Now, when watching the documentary here's how I can relate each individual: Neal: According to Neal's adopted mom, he didn't really sleep at night.Maybe only 2 hours once. What a coincidence, I've got pretty crappy sleeping patterns, myself. I never really slept at night when I was a baby, either.According to my mom, I'd be up all night crying my first year of life, but then again, that's considered normal for bab...
