Another example of a slideshow I've made in honor of the Autism Gala from 2015.


 With April being Autism Awareness/Acceptance month, I thought I'd share another slideshow I made from when I went to the autism Gala for the first time, when they would hold it every year in April at this Pfizer hotel in Milwaukee, WI. For me, going to the Gala every year form 2015-2019 was like Prom night for me. Especially considering that I never went to my prom when I was in high school. But how could I when I didn't even go to the same high school all 4 years? Well, since I didn't get to go to prom and didn't want to, I feel going to the Autism Gala really made up for not going to my High School prom.

Now as for the reason why I chose the music I did, is because I think maybe it's safe to say, a lot of us on the spectrum just want to be accepted for who we are, as well as respected for who we are. I think we do just want to be able to fit in and make friends like everyone else and we want to also be respected and treated as equals in society. So for that, I feel the choice of song I used was totally fitting.

Good stuff that's happened so far as of 1/5/2017

So what's happened so far, this year: 1. At the start of the year, got $500.00 to deposit into my account so that I have more money for the month to help me just get by. 2. 3 days later I got my new debit card in the mail 3. Might be getting a new job in Waukesha, real soon. (hope this one works out a lot better than my last one) 4. Days are getting longer and lighter out after 5pm. (of course you don't really notice it more until after the first 7 to 9 days of the month) 5. After this week and last week of temperatures being below 20 degrees outside, we're finally going to have a bit of a "January thaw out". Basically what's going to happen is after this week, temperatures are going to get back into the 20's and 30's. it's been a while

Ok, all I have to say, is that it's been a while since I've posted anything on here. LOL! I've just been busy with just trying to enjoy the summer as much as I could. I can't believe it's over now. I think it went by too fast, if you ask me. And one of my all time favorite holidays is coming up. That's right. Halloween. This last weekend, Jeremae and her boyfriend, Tim, finally got married, so Jason and I went up to spend some quality time with her. I really honestly wish she and Tim were living closer than they do. We could have so much fun doing so many fun things together. I mean, I'm just chalked full of ideas on what kind of things we could maybe do together. One idea is going to a club or bar somewhere in Milwaukee or something like that and dancing the night away, although we're now either in our late 20's and early 30's.  Especially when there's this one song I've been dancing to, called "Wobble Baby". Well, tonight I'm hopefully going to be heading to my storage unit/Motel room/apartment that I'm suppose to be living in. As far as I'm concerned, it's just Friday and Saturday Night home away from home. I sure wish that when I'm over there I could have my computer and internet set up. Maybe that way I'd say there, more. But with my computer being at parent's house as well as the internet and cable access, and with the fact I have no Hot water in my apartment, it's the only thing that keeps me coming back to their house. What I've been wanting to do is go over the lyrics to Sarah Mclachlan's song, "Possession", and say what sounds kinda creepy, like not just something a stalker would say but someone who's abusive might also say, and just pick certain parts of the song apart to see if maybe that's what she means when she says certain parts in the song, like the chorus part, for example that goes, "And I would be the one to h...
