The Champions movie

 So, earlier this year when I went with my mom to see A Man Called Otto staring Tom Hanks, I saw this preview for a movie that takes place in the very state I'm from: Iowa! And it stars Ernie Hudson, Woody Harrelson and Cheech (part of the duo, Cheech and Chong). Anyway,what happens is Woody's character ends up getting in trouble for drunk driving, and he ends up having to coach a Special Olympics Basketball team. More recently, I looked to see if there was some place where maybe I could stream it. So I end up streaming it on youtube, because I figure if I think I want to buy it when it comes out on dvd, I should stream it to see if I even like it, first. So, I did just that, and I thought it was pretty good, and funny. I also like the fact that in the movie, they're supposed to be going to a game in my old home town where I was born: Ames, Iowa! Anyway, I think it's cool that one of the guys with Down Syndrome works at an animal shelter, and thanks to him, the shelter he works at now is a No kill shelter. I think the girl with Down Syndrome is pretty funny too. I think it's kinda funny that she uses the "F" word in the movie but she means well. There's also a character named Marlon, I think. And I think his character supposedly has autism, just based on some of the things he says. Anyway, I decided to look at movies at Target and 

Wal-Mart in Waukesha the other day, and I found the movie, Champions at the Wal-Mart. So I bought it. At least I can say, I took the time to watch it on youtube, before deciding to buy it. That way, I can say I've seen it.

Good stuff that's happened so far as of 1/5/2017

So what's happened so far, this year: 1. At the start of the year, got $500.00 to deposit into my account so that I have more money for the month to help me just get by. 2. 3 days later I got my new debit card in the mail 3. Might be getting a new job in Waukesha, real soon. (hope this one works out a lot better than my last one) 4. Days are getting longer and lighter out after 5pm. (of course you don't really notice it more until after the first 7 to 9 days of the month) 5. After this week and last week of temperatures being below 20 degrees outside, we're finally going to have a bit of a "January thaw out". Basically what's going to happen is after this week, temperatures are going to get back into the 20's and 30's. I can live with winter weather being in the 20's and 30's, but anything under 20 is too cold! 6. We've been invited to Minnesota to see some relatives. it's been a while

Ok, all I have to say, is that it's been a while since I've posted anything on here. LOL! I've just been busy with just trying to enjoy the summer as much as I could. I can't believe it's over now. I think it went by too fast, if you ask me. And one of my all time favorite holidays is coming up. That's right. Halloween. This last weekend, Jeremae and her boyfriend, Tim, finally got married, so Jason and I went up to spend some quality time with her. I really honestly wish she and Tim were living closer than they do. We could have so much fun doing so many fun things together. I mean, I'm just chalked full of ideas on what kind of things we could maybe do together. One idea is going to a club or bar somewhere in Milwaukee or something like that and dancing the night away, although we're now either in our late 20's and early 30's.  Especially when there's this one song I've been dancing to, called "Wobble Baby". Well, tonight I'm hopefully going to be heading to my storage unit/Motel room/apartment that I'm suppose to be living in. As far as I'm concerned, it's just Friday and Saturday Night home away from home. I sure wish that when I'm over there I could have my computer and internet set up. Maybe that way I'd say there, more. But with my computer being at parent's house as well as the internet and cable access, and with the fact I have no Hot water in my apartment, it's the only thing that keeps me coming back to their house. What I've been wanting to do is go over the lyrics to Sarah Mclachlan's song, "Possession", and say what sounds kinda creepy, like not just something a stalker would say but someone who's abusive might also say, and just pick certain parts of the song apart to see if maybe that's what she means when she says certain parts in the song, like the chorus part, for example that goes, "And I would be the one to h...
