Another month has gone by!
Well this is it! Today we're at our half way mark as far as our lease is concerned. Here I was wondering how I was going to make it through January of this year, and we made it. Luckily, we did have that January thaw that kept coming in going, resulting in having temperatures get above freezing. But now, they're just as cold as they were at the beginning of this month as they were in the beginning of last month. Yuck!
But on the plus side, my balance went back up. I also found a good way to start the month, and so yeah I'd say I'm having a good start to the month. Now, when I went to the autism conference last year, I didn't get to stay the night at the Kalahari Resort in the Wisconsin Dells where it was being held. But this year, I made sure that if I go to the autism conference again this year, that at least I was going make sure that I got to stay the night at the Kalahari Resort where the Autism Conference was just being held. I know that last year I only stayed for 1 night and was kind of hoping I could stay longer than just one night this year, but I say, I'm lucky if I can at least stay the night at the Kalahari Resort where the conference is being held, for just one night. Besides, I don't think I'd be able to stay over for more than one night, and we have a cat that we need to take care of. Anyways, I called the resort this afternoon and set up for lodging there during the conference. Here I thought it was going to be 100.00 per person, but luckily, it only cost 136.00 for 2 people. Also, I know that I would have liked it if my girls from the support group meeting and I could have gone. But this year, I've decided I've wanted Jason to come with me. Besides, it can also be our way of celebrating both our birthdays, our anniversary of just being a couple, and of our living together, for a year. He had said last fall, that he wanted to go on a mini vacation somewhere, but didn't have the money for it. And I decided to ask if he would like to go this year. Luckily, he's up for going, even if it is just for a night, because it's cheaper if we only stay 1 night, and we have a cat. So now, we're set for April. Jason has also been trying to find a job where he'll get paid good money for doing it. And since we both want to try and move back into Waukesha, WI, this year, if he's able to get a job doing something, and I'm able to get something, it might help raise our chances of being able to move back into Waukesha. Let's hope more good stuff continues to come our way, this year.
