Finally, Spring weather is here!
Well, this has been an interesting month. And unfortunately not as good of a month as I would like it to be. Right now my boyfriend and I have been struggling to find a good job and keep it. On the plus side of things, as of this last weekend through this week and next week, temperatures are finally getting into the 50's through the 70's. And it's about time, too. Good bye, 30 and 40 degree weather. I'm sorry, but temperatures only being in the 30s and 40's when it's the month of April just isn't acceptable. At least on the last day of this month, it's going to be much warmer than what it was at the end of April of last year. And it's about time, too. Last Wednesday we had a snow storm, which I think is absolutely ridiculous for this time of year. I mean, really? It should NOT be snowing in April.
As far as my boyfriend and I are doing, financially, we are struggling with finding a job and keeping it. I tried going to 2 different temp agencies, where I got put into a temporary job, only to be let go on the first day. I tried getting a temporary job in manufacturing and that was an epic fail. Then last week, I tried going to a temporary job agency in Elkhorn, thinking maybe things would go better. And instead, that temporary job ended even worse than the first 1 did. And if I'm going to keep going to temp agencies just to seek employment, only to be let go of on the same day, then, I'm not going to anymore temp agencies.
On the plus side, of things this last weekend was a fun but busy weekend. Got to go to the Kalahari resort in the Dells for the autism conference. (I hope I get to go again, this summer, which means, got to start saving up). Just wish I could have gone there, earlier. Then the next evening I went to the annual Autism Gala. Another thing we recently did after discovering that my cat, Boo ate all my hair ties and then ended up puking them back up in a huge wad is, we ended up getting pet insurance to cover him, in case of any serious emergencies if he should have to go to the vet's office. And then finally on the last week of this month, temperatures are going to be in the 50's through 70's. Again, it's about time, too. Good bye, 30's, and 40's.
