The apartment search has officially begun!

So, last night Jason mentioned something to me about moving back into Waukesha. He said that if I wanted to move back into Waukesha, then we'd better start looking for apartments, now. Well, anyways, where we're living in Palmyra, if we do plan on moving out when our lease is up, we need to let our current land lord know that we're moving again 3 months in advance. And with the month of May being right around the corner, I think it's best we start looking, soon. Luckily, I was able to go on the website, coolpads.com and found 2 apartments under 800.00 that will accept cats. Because right now, if we get another new apartment in Waukesha, I know that whether or not it has a dish washer or a walk in closet is probably the least of our worries. The important thing right now is that we're able to get something that's within a range we can afford that's not in the ghetto. Another important thing is that we can have pets there.Luckily, I was able to look up 2 different apartments that would be under $800. One of them is located on Davidson Road in Waukesha. Jason liked that one. He said it was located in a good neighborhood, and both dogs and cats are welcome. Gas is included in rent, as well as heating. I know it might not be quite as nice as what we had at West Grove apartments, but maybe it'll be nicer than where we are, now. As for it not having a dish washer, maybe at some point Jason and I can get a portable one, because I hate washing dishes by hand. I also looked at another nice looking place in Waukesha on Fleetwood Drive. It looked nice. The only thing is it didn't have a dish washer. But at least they let you have cats there. Anyways, here's what it had to say: it has air conditioning, cable tv ready, cats are allowed, and you don't even need a deposit for them. There's a ceiling fan, and there's a condo floor. There's a living room, microwave oven, near transportation, off street parking, patio balcony, fridge, secured entry and intercom, storage space and a yard. And that's for 745.00
I'm really hoping where ever it is we end up, if we do get an apartment back in Waukesha, it'll be something we can both afford as well as something that's pet friendly. And hopefully it'll be nicer than where we are, now. Hopefully the next place we go to will be a pet friendly place where doors actually close better, and have a latch when they close, so our cat doesn't get into anything he shouldn't be getting into. It might not be as nice as what we had at West Grove, but it should still be nicer than where we are, now.

So anyways, today I called the landlord of that apartment complex. They said that every month, more units become available. And since we don't really need to be out of Palmyra until after August 31st of this year, they said to call and check back the first of July this year, or August.

At least I can say that so far, I've survived living in Palmyra in the fall, and now I've made it through living out here in the winter. Now I need to get through living out here in the spring and summer.
I know that until the time comes, we are probably going to have to do apartment searching this summer, both online and in person. All I know is when the time comes, I am NOT going to miss living out here.
