Thoughts about random stuff

Well, let's see. I know that I don't want to live in Palmyra for another year. Jason doesn't, either. This means, that with May being right around the corner, we are going to have to let the landlord know that we do plan on moving back out of Palmyra, into Waukesha when our lease is up. I guess this means that come May and through out this summer, we really need to start looking at places in Waukesha. Preferably a place located in a nice neighborhood, pet friendly, has 2 bedrooms. Maybe has a balcony or a porch with outlets into the wall outside, so in case we want to listen to the radio outside, or plug in holiday lights, later in the year. Hopefully some place that's nicer than where we are, now. It might not have a walk in closet or a dish washer, but maybe it'll still be some where nicer than where we are, now. All I know is, one day we will end up leaving Palmyra. And when we do, we'll be leaving there, for good.
Anyways, if you were to experience how the weather has been this week, you would never have known that it ever snowed at all, last week. And as for temperatures being where they are, I'd say it's about time. Good bye, 30's, good bye, and good bye 40's. And then next week, temperatures are finally going to start spiking into the 70's. I couldn't ask for a better way to kick off the month of May than to have temperatures up in the upper 60's and 70's. So for that, I say, good bye 30's, 40's, and the 50's. Finally! I guess this means, I can finally start wearing my capris and sandals again, and maybe some of my tank tops, my halters, my tube tops.
As far as working goes, I know I need a job, but when it comes to employment, temping agencies probably aren't the best way to go for me. I mean, it doesn't really matter which temporary agency I work for. Results are probably going to be the same. I tried working for a temp agency in Pewaukee/Waukesha. They put me in a temporary job that was hands on. I lasted most of the day, but then I get a call stating that the employer didn't want me coming back after just 1 day. Probably just as well. Work started there at 8 in the morning which is just too early for me. And then a week ago I tried another temp agency which mentioned Data Entry. I tried it. And kinda hoped the 2nd job experience I got through the agency would turn out better than what I had tried 2 weeks earlier, and instead it turned out worse than the first "temporary job experience". Because first of all work started at 7am, which again is too early. It also snowed the night before, which I think is ridiculous. So there was still snow on the ground. I ended up getting lost trying to get there, and when I tried to turn the car around to go back the way I came, I got stuck in a ditch, and had to call to have a tow truck pull the car out. When I finally came to this "data entry" job, that job experience ended a lot worse than the first job experience. I didn't even get trained all that well, and the data entry job I was supposed to be doing just wasn't what I was expecting, at all. The girl who was supposed to train me just got up and left me hanging, so I had nobody to go to for help, and they let me go. I only lasted there for 2 hours. So all in all, it was a bad morning. And to be let go on the first day twice, I've come to the conclusion that if I try to get work through a temp agency only to be let go of on the first day, then I guess it doesn't matter which temp agency I go to, because results are going to be the same. And if I'm going to keep being let go after the first day, then I'm done with temping. And as upsetting as it was that the job in East Troy didn't work out for me, it's probably just as well. What they wanted me to do was more than what I was used to doing and there was no way in hell I was going to remember all that in just 1 day. Plus if we want to be able to move back into the Waukesha area at the end of this summer, do I really want to be working in Jefferson or Walworth county, anyway? I know that maybe in some ways I'm living closer to Wal Worth county, but if I get a job in the Waukesha area and then we move back, we'll be closer to our jobs.
