8 more weeks!

I know back in November I've thought that possibly for the next 4 months, I was going to need a scraper for the car so I can scrape frost, snow, and ice off my car if need be. Well, here we are, where this week, the month of December ends, January begins. After this week is over, I'll really only have to deal with it being winter for 8 more weeks. That's 4 weeks in January, and 4 straight weeks in February. Luckily next week for the first full week in January, temperatures are going to be in the high 30's and low 40's, which might be a great opportunity to take down the rest of my Christmas stuff for a while, although it'll be back up in 10 months from that time. And I can put my Christmas tree away for another 9 months, when I bring it back up to for Halloween. But for temperatures to be above freezing in the first week of January isn't a bad way to start the new month or year. Maybe it'll melt a good portion of snow in the parking lot of my apartment ...

Highlights for December 2025

Found out that a seat flipped in Missippi, I believe and the democrats just flipped from red to blue for the position of Mayor of Miami, Florida! This year when one of my bosses at work was giving us the opportunity to draw names for who we have for secret santas, I got someone I know I get along with, and due to the conversations about the things he likes, I know what he likes so I finally got to get him some stuff, that I'm hoping he'll like for Christmas. So that's out of the way. Got to make Peanut clusters. As of December 10, 2025, another seat in the State of Georgia has flipped from red to blue! Yay! Let's go Dems! On December 10, 2025, I found out at work that in the next week, they're going to open a new sushi bar in town and my boss was thinking of betting sushi as a Christmas lunch Sweet! On the week of December 14th-20th, was quite a week of festivities. I got to make some cookies and finish some diamond painting projects, got to go to Grand Geneva and...

Highlights for November, 2025

In November we had some special elections take place in the states of Virginia, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania and Georgia. Democrats, Abigail Spanberger, Mikie Sherrill and Zohran Mamdani won for Mayor of New York and governors of New Jersey and Virginia. The Democrats in Pennsylvania retained control of the Supreme court, and then 2 democrats flipped 2 public service commission seats in Georgia! Let's hope that in a year from now, we can continue this success.  Sirius XM finally started playing their music radio stations, and I figured out how to pair bluetooth in my car with my phone. Found out that 2 senate seats in the state of Mississippi flipped from red to blue on 11/6/2025. Mike Johnson finally caved and swore in the one democrat from Arizona after putting it off for 7 weeks. So now, she can finally be the 218th voter to release the Epstein files, and have the survivors come in next week and share their testimonies, their stories, etc. Someone even once said that...

Highlights for October, 2025

as of October 8, 2025, Another seat flipped. The democrats won for Mayor of Alaska! Congratulations, Mindy O'Neall. I'm getting paid twice in the same week, twice this month, hopefully. My boss said that since Halloween is on Friday this year, that on the day before Halloween, maybe we could all dress up at work in costumes and have some kind Halloween party at work. I also got to decorate pumpkins at the first autism group meeting, this year. And I finally broke below 150lbs, if it's only 1-3lbs, so far. Hope to lose more in spite what time of year it is.  Speaker of the House, Mike Johnson FINALLY swore in Democrat,  Rep.-elect Adelita Grijalva, after running out of excuses to delay it. But hey, the fact that she's finally sworn in, is good news for the rest of us. If she votes to release the Epstein files, which she most likely will, and they get leaked, odds are, that thing should be out of office by Christmas season. Yay! Went to my autism group meeting on the 15t...

Foreshadowing...?

So let's look at what's happened with the fat orange thing known as Donald Trump since the beginning of the year: First thing we saw back in January or February this year was bruising on his hand, and him trying to cover them up with make-up.  Then we saw him and got reports of him having trouble walking, as well as climbing the stairs as well as not walking in a straight line. Then he was shown with swollen ankles, which is reportedly a sign of Congestive Heart failure.  I wondered if we were ever going to see anything happen with his face, next. Well, I wasn't wrong. This month in September, we saw a side of his face drooping like maybe he had a stroke, or something. And more recently, Trump was reportedly worried about not making it into heaven. Could it be, this man knows he's about to die soon? Hope so.  Update for October, 7,2025: Trump reportedly ate a lot of pizza and then reportedly said he hadn't been feeling well. And he's mentioned the possibly of hi...

Highlights for August and September

Highlights for August: Got to go to Noah's Ark water park, got to see a movie in theaters. Got to spend time with another friend Heard from one of my friends that she'll finally get to see her daughters again, and won't have to deal with their evil dad. Just hope it goes well. Got a new toy for my cats.  I hear Joni Ernst won't be up for re-election. I finally got my petition signed and handed over. High Lights for September: Democrats won a special election in Virginia as of 9/20/2025, I did the Milwaukee Children's Congenital Heart walk for the 3rd year in a row and 2nd time as a team. I still hope my team can get a little bigger over time. Not having as many people this year as last year is hopefully just a minor set back.  Another Iowa democrat flipped a senate state seat in a special election, breaking the super GOP majority. Congratulations,  Catelin Drey. I downloaded and have since been using a running app for my phone to help me track not just how far I...

Highlights for July

Got to see fireworks got to go to a picnic with my friends on the adults on the spectrum.  Been working on a new diamond painting and it's now a little over half done That fat orange thing might be on the verge of having a fatal heart attack or stroke.

Swimming issues

You know what? Adam is always complaining that I'm not being fair to him. But you know what? He told me he would take me swimming to a pool somewhere and then decides to go to Illinois, yet he says when he comes back we can go swimming. We'll, knowing him, when he goes to Illinois, he'll be there all day. Well, if he knew I wanted to go swimming, then he would have taken me swimming at the day and time I gave him and we could have went. I even told him a specific time I wanted to go to a pool somewhere and how long I wanted to be there, and I even called him around 9 in the morning which would have given him 2 or 3 hours to get ready, so he could come over and we could go. I think that's plenty of time to get ready. But he tried to get his way where we didn't go swimming somewhere until later in the evening, and I don't want to wait that long. Why should I have to wait for him all day, just to go swimming somewhere, because he's going to be in Illinois, all...

The Never Ending Story: Narrowing things down

I know in one of my previous posts, I kept posting all the different things that were still yet the same regarding the movie, The Never Ending Story, regarding the things in that movie that people found disturbing. Now, I might have also mentioned there is something in that movie that bothered me when I was a kid. The one reason I would watch the movie so much on tape when I was 7 was because I had a crush on one of the child actors, or at least a mere image of what one of the child actors looked like while they were in that movie, at the time. So, let me narrow down what in the movie bothered me when I was a kid, as well as other statements made about that movie. It's kinda sad, I had to google a bunch of times just to see it say for me the one part of the movie that bothered me, and what it had to say about it and why: disturbing moment in The Never Ending Story: The Sphinxes and Charred Remains:  These imposing statues guarding the Southern Oracle pose a threat to those wh...

Highlights for June, 2025

I got over 1,000 in my bank account. Got to spend some time with an old friend from high school. Got to go to the Father's Day carnival in Mukwonago.  Got to take myself to a beach when it was over 90 degrees I started a new hobby with diamond paintings. I finished my dolphin diamond painting and started another one

The Never Ending Story movie's said to be most disturbing moments and things about that movie

So I've asked google multiple times about what parts of the Neverending Story are considered to be disturbing or would people find disturbing, and I've gotten multiple answers each time. But here's what came up: Certain scenes in  The NeverEnding Story  are considered disturbing, particularly for younger audiences, and have even been described as traumatic for some viewers.   Here's a breakdown of some of the commonly cited disturbing elements: The Nothing:  This dark, mysterious force is actively destroying Fantasia, engulfing everything in its path and representing a void of despair. The relentless, faceless nature of the Nothing can be unsettling, especially as it threatens to consume characters. The Swamps of Sadness:  The emotional depiction of Atreyu's horse, Artax, succumbing to the overwhelming despair of the swamps and sinking into the mud is a deeply sad and often traumatic scene. This scene teaches a harsh lesson about loss and depression, which...

Highlights for May

Some of the highlights for May, 2025 are that I graduated from Partners and Policy Funding. Hope I can keep in touch with some of the people I've met, there. I've already invited them to upcoming events this year, that I'm a part of that they appeared interested in. I told Amber about our group meetings since she's on the spectrum, too, and she showed interest. So, I hope to see there, granted, sometimes people come and go and get busy. Then, there's these 2 women I met there who are a little older than me and are sisters. They had a son and nephew who sadly passed away when he was just 3 years old and went through hell for him, when they shouldn't have had to. And he had a congenital heart defect. So, I let them know about the Children's congenital heart defect walk that I've been doing in Jason's memory. And they both seemed interested, so I gave them the link and information. And if they were to attend and ever wanted to create a team in his memo...

My letter to my late partner, Jason.

Hi Cuddles, I guess you know that I ended up reaching out to Josh Louis who happens to be a medium who reached out to you with a spirit box. I guess you already know that I miss how I used to be able to have conversations we used to be able to have when you were still here and when we were still together. I hope maybe now we can talk to each other again, even if it's like this once a month. I'm glad you were able to come through when he reached out to you. I feel it really helped confirm some things. 1. That I didn't fail you. I even heard you say in the video of his reading with you, "No, she didn't, she loved me", even though it appeared as "inaudible" on the screen. You're damn right I did, and I still do. This also helped confirm that you did in fact succumb to a heart attack, because I had wondered what had happened to you for a while, now. But now, I have more questions for you. On that night, if I hadn't left you alone in the other ro...

Highlights for April, 2025

Well, today we had an election in Wisconsin for Supreme court judge between Susan Crawford and Brad Schimmel, where Brad Schimmel is and was just a puppet for Elon Musk and that thing. Luckily, Susan Crawford won this race. Something was telling me that she was going to end up winning, too, which gives me some hope for the future. As of April 6, 2025, Democratic Congressmen, Al Green, has threatened to file articles of impeachment against that thing in the next 30 days, for he might not last another 4 years. Hopefully, he will be gone by 2028, if we're lucky. Another democrat has filed articles of impeachment. More seats in Iowa have flipped from red to blue. I got to go to the color factory museum in Chicago, again. I also finally learned how to hard boil eggs. And I'm thinking, maybe I should practice making them at least once a month so that when next Easter comes, I'm ready and I think I already know what I want for either my birthday or Christmas this year: an egg pee...

Highlights for March 2025

So, for the month of March of 2025, here have been some of the highlights of this month so far: As always, the usual highlights of March are that we get Daylight Savings time, again, and the Shamrock shakes at McDonalds. But this for me, the highlights for March also include my participation at Disability Awareness Day for the 2nd year in a row, although it all had to be moved online, this year. I also got to go to the State capitol of Wisconsin to take part in a protest. On the 14th of March, I got to experience some summer like weather, and again on the 28th of March as well as possibly the first thunderstorm of the year. I also got an account on Hulu, so I can now stream and binge watch episodes of the Golden Girls, as well as watch a documentary I've been wanting to see about people with disabilities being able to get married and making it legal. Also 2 more seats in the senate have flipped from red to blue in Pennsylvania. YES!

Reasons why I might use the R-word

So today, I’ve been doing some therapy on myself. And I’ve thought of this. Why do I even throw the R-word around? I know I’m not calling anyone that really does have an intellectual disability the R-word to their face and I know I’m not prejudice of people who have that kind of disability. So where is it coming from? Probably anger based, due to the fact that when I was 23 and again at 27, I’ve had airhead professionals talk my parents into forcing me into some day programs against my will, because they were too dense to listen to me, when I told them NO. And these programs will claim they work with all types of disabilities when it’s a bunch of bullshit! If they really did work with all types of people with disabilities in there, you wouldn’t just see people in there who really were mentally challenged. You’d see people in there who were on the milder end of the autism spectrum, you’d see people in there who are deaf, people who are blind, people with learning disabilities, pe...

February Highlights

Let's see. What are some highlights for the month of February: Well, it being the shortest month of the year is always one. And being able to see it get progressively light out at 6pm is another highlight of February. But this month, I learned that a seat in the senate has flipped from red to blue in Iowa. The democrats have already started issuing articles of impeachment against that fat orange thing. Another good thing that's happened for me is that I didn't have to pay my WE energy bill this month, because WE energy assistance covered it for me. And I also found out that Lady Gaga will be releasing a new album and I'm very curious about how it's going to sound. I hope I like it. I plan on getting it, too!

The weather in February lately

This has not been a good week for me when it comes to me and losing weight and eating healthy. As of now we've had 2 snow storms. Luckily I was able to make it to the gym today before the big storm hit. I just didn't get to work out a full 90 minutes this week while at the gym, until today. As for the weather next week: temperatures are only going to be in the teens and single digits, but then in the week after, temperatures will be back in the upper 30's and 40's, so I'm guessing this week's snow storms and then next week's arctic freeze is going to be winter's final hurrah! As for the weather in the final week of February being what it'll be, probably because someone up there KNOWS that this is the last month of winter, and that spring will soon be right around the corner. Thank God! Old man really needs to get out of town!

Highlights for me as of January 10, 2025

So here's some interesting highlights for January so far: 1 highlight as always is seeing it get lighter outside at 5pm on the dot, so basically 5pm goes from being 5 at nighttime back to 5 during the day. I also got an e-mail from Milwaukee Congenital heart defects letting me know when this year's Congenital Hear Walk was for this year. YES! It seems to me quite a few of the resorts up in the Wisconsin Dells are either getting or have gotten some new editions in their water parks put in, and I would love to see how it looks this year. This year they're renovating and expanding their indoor water park some more. NICE!! I really hope I get the chance to go there due to some opportunities that might come up because of my disabilities and that I get a chance to spend some downtime there, while I'm there.  Also, I started watching this new show on TLC called "Baylen Out Loud". It's about a young woman who has Tourette's Syndrome and her special journey in...
